1. Overview
BQ AI Inspector offers a free inspection service and a one-time paid AI optimization ($6.99 per report). We do not currently offer recurring subscriptions. This policy covers refunds for paid optimization purchases and explains cancellation procedures for any future subscription plans.
2. Free Inspections — No Charge, No Refund Needed
AI visibility inspections are completely free. No payment is collected, so no refund or cancellation applies. You may use free inspections without providing payment information.
3. Paid AI Optimization — Refund Eligibility
When you purchase AI Optimization ($6.99 per report), you are buying a digital deliverable: an AI-generated optimization report including rewritten titles, descriptions, schema markup, FAQ content, and related suggestions.
You may request a full refund if:
- The optimization report failed to generate due to a technical error on our side, and we cannot deliver a corrected report within 48 hours
- The delivered optimization output is empty, corrupted, or clearly unusable (e.g., missing all major sections)
- You were charged but did not receive access to your optimization results
- You request a refund within 7 calendar days of purchase and have not substantially used or downloaded the optimization content
Refunds are generally not provided if:
- You are dissatisfied with the AI-generated wording but the report was delivered correctly
- You changed your mind after reviewing and downloading the optimization output
- The inspection URL contained insufficient source content for meaningful optimization
- You applied the optimization content to your listing or website and later regretted the results
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for a paid optimization purchase:
- Email with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Job ID]"
- Include your job ID (found in your report URL, e.g.,
https://www.boqi-ai.com/report/abc123), the email address used during checkout (if any), and the date of purchase - Briefly describe the reason for your refund request
- Attach a screenshot of your payment receipt if available
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Refund timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider (Stripe, WeChat Pay, etc.).
5. Subscription Cancellation (Future Plans)
BQ AI Inspector currently operates on a pay-per-report model with no active subscriptions. If we introduce subscription plans in the future (e.g., AI Visibility Monitor), the following cancellation terms will apply:
- How to cancel: You may cancel your subscription at any time by emailing or through a self-service account dashboard (when available). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- No partial refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing cycle once the period has started. You will retain access to subscription features until the end of the paid period.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the next billing date. We will send a renewal reminder email before each charge.
- Free trial: If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial ends. Cancel before the trial expires to avoid charges.
6. Chargebacks & Disputes
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly. Unresolved chargebacks may result in suspension of access to paid features.
7. Payment Provider Policies
Payments processed through Stripe are also subject to Stripe's terms and dispute resolution processes. Domestic payments via WeChat Pay or Alipay are subject to the respective platform policies. Our refund decisions are made independently based on this policy.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Refund requests are evaluated under the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
